Artificial Intelligence in the Workplace

AI is everywhere! Wonder what the hype is all about? Are you using or thinking of using AI tools, but not sure how or if you should use them at work? Have questions about the ethical concerns of AI and how we even got here? Join LDDI as we delve into the murky waters of the rapidly evolving AI landscape in our diverse workplace contexts. With activities designed for various tools, critically engage with generative AI from different lenses and perspectives, and gain the confidence to make informed decisions about AI. Tea with AI

Every month we explore several AI tools. This month we are focusing on the intersection of Wellbeing and AI. Guided by UBCs Wellbeing Strategic Framework, join us as we explore three priority areas: mental health, physical exercise and food and nutrition.

Orientation to Learning Technologies for Instructors

This orientation workshop for new Faculty of Education instructors will explore the services and learning technologies available at UBC. We will look into how technology can be used to improve your teaching experience, and how to find support if you need it. This session will cover:
